I’m writing this letter to say how much the services of your repair man, Dalton, were appreciated earlier this week. He came to our house after a service call was placed to you thinking that there was a problem with our heating system. We had no idea at the time it was a water leak.
I was shocked when Dalton came back in and said that there was a water leak under the house. (We had heard a noise from a heat vent, but it did not sound like water to either of us.) My husband was at work in Charlotte at the time, and with health problems myself I did not quite know how I was going to deal with it. Dalton really stepped up and did what needed to be done first, which was to get the water turned off. I knew where to tell him to go for that, but had never done it myself and am not bale now. Once that was accomplished and I had gotten hold of our plumber who was able to come later that day, Dalton helped me explain the problem to my husband on the phone and also reminded me to contact our insurance company.
Having his help at the time, even though it required some action that had nothing to do with our heating system or his area of responsibility, made a lot of difference in how I was able to deal with the situation. In getting the water off, which had nothing to do with his job, he no doubt helped us avoid any more water damage than necessary. He is a good employee who thinks about the needs of his customers.
I have also been impressed with your staff that I talked to ion the phone this week. When I was told that someone would call me right back in a few minutes and they actually did. I couldn’t help but recall other times when I’ve been told that by a business and would not even receive a return call. Since he ended up having to come here 3 times this week, that was extremely helpful.
I thought you should hear about an instance in which I was very pleased with your service, as a customer, when I know that you may hear more ones in which there was a problem or the customer was not happy.
